* Supporting him in developing important daily skills such as general housekeeping duties, personal care, interaction/social skills and budgeting will be a key part of this role.
* You will also play a vital role in facilitating connections within the community, planning and cooking meals, and supporting him to reach his goals of living independently as an adult.
* Additionally, you will provide support taking him to appointments and sport commitments, as well as being a good role model in teaching/supporting him to achieve his goals.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in working with individuals who have Down Syndrome and Autism, as well as those with restrictive practices including medication and containment due to absconding.
