About the role We are currently recruiting for a Digital Content Officer to join the Communications team within our Customer and Corporate Affairs division. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint. Reporting to the Media and Communications Manager, the Digital Content Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging digital content that supports both internal and external communications. The role will play a key part in creating multimedia stories, including videos, animations, infographics, and other digital assets, ensuring content is accurate, on brand, and consistent across a variety of platforms including websites, intranets, social media, and more. In this role, you will contribute to digital storytelling efforts across Essential Energy and Essential Water, producing training materials and supporting content creation beyond the Communications Team. You’ll also support digital asset libraries, provide video production guidance to other teams, and be part of an agile team that responds to communications needs during critical events. About You You have a strong background in digital content creation and are confident producing video and multimedia content from start to finish. You’re skilled with Adobe Creative Suite and understand how to tailor content for different audiences and platforms. Whether you're filming, editing, creating infographics, or managing a content library, you bring creativity, efficiency, and a sharp eye for detail. Required Qualifications • Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication, or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
