Our Client, a locally and family-owned business in the beautiful Clarence Valley of NSW, is on the hunt for an enthusiastic and people-focused Team Leader withexperience and knowledge of the Timber Industry, to join their growing team of long-serving employees.

Requirements

* Team leadership and Supervisory experience, with ability to lead a team of up to 10 staff members
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Timber Industry, gained from prior employment
* Availability Monday-Friday, 7:30am commencements each shift, and an early finish on Fridays
* Great physical fitness, with a satisfactory pre-employment medical assessment (organised and paid for if shortlisted)
* Satisfactory drug and alcohol assessment (organised and paid for if shortlisted)
* Current High Risk Work Licence - Forklift will be highly advantageous
* Current Drivers Licence
* Team and people-focussed

* Initial 6-month casual contract through Complete Staff Solutions, with a potential for ongoing and permanent work for the right candidate (and dependant on performance/suitability)
* Ability to negotiate a suited and fair salary, on interview

Main Duties (includes, but not limited to)

* Supervising and leading a team of up to 10 employees
* Organise production schedules and communicate with the broader operational team
* Arrange and track staff training, ensuring training is current and in line with staff development needs
* Cover a 360 model of the manufacturing plant, with ability to learn and understand a variety of positions and tasks
* Forklift operations will be required if licenced and experienced
