The Position The position involves the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies or programs aimed at reducing crime and increasing the safety of residents in Albury by developing partnerships with the police, external service providers, government organisations and the community. Qualifications & experience Tertiary qualification in Social Science, Welfare, Criminology/Social justice, Community Development or related fields or relevant work experience. Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) NSW Security Licence Class 1E - Monitoring Centre Operator (compulsory to have and maintain) Relevant experience supporting and consulting with community based organisation. Tasks & responsibilities To develop, implement, monitor and evaluate plans and strategies such as the: Community Safety Plan Graffiti Management Plan Work with other members of the Community Safety Team, other internal and external stakeholders to meet the community safety needs of the community. To support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies, strategies and procedures in relation to CCTV in public places. Hours Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
