Job Profile:
* Cut and prepare meat for distribution to retailers.
* Operate equipment such as grinders, mixers, and mincers to process meat.
* Develop custom seasonings and pickles by blending spices, salt, and other ingredients.
* Manage the operation of sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum three years of experience in a butcher role.
* Relevant certification such as Certificate III in Meat Processing or related qualification is highly recommended.
* Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and regulations.
* Current food handling and RSA certificates are required.
