Position Title: Video Editor & Content Creator
Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week to start)
Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week in our Melbourne office (Carlton)
Start Date: Immediate
Opportunity to move to Full-Time within 3 months
About the Role
We're looking for a technically skilled and creatively driven Video Editor & Content Creator to join our content team — starting immediately.
You'll be responsible for planning, filming, and editing social-first content for a diverse mix of hospitality, lifestyle, and retail brands. From directing shoots with professional camera gear to delivering polished edits for Reels and TikTok, you'll play a key role in how our clients show up online.
This role begins part-time, with a strong opportunity to grow into a full-time position within 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute content shoots using in-house camera gear and lighting
Edit dynamic short-form videos using DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar
Capture content in line with social trends and brand tone
Create video-first assets for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and more
Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to develop concepts
Adapt and repurpose content across various formats and platforms
Manage footage organisation, export files, and meet deadlines
Work independently and as part of a close-knit, creative team
About You
1–3 years' experience in content creation or video production
Confident operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio gear
Strong editing skills and understanding of social-first video formats
Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about visual storytelling
Able to work autonomously, while also thriving in team collaboration
Organised, deadline-driven, and proactive with ideas
BYO laptop – all camera gear and lighting provided
