About The Role
Ipswich Libraries is a dynamic, innovative, and growing provider of a range of library and information services and products to the community.
As Library Programs Officer, you will be part of the Library Programs team responsible for the development and delivery of high quality and inclusive library programs and initiatives that support literacy, learning, and community engagement across the Ipswich region.
We are seeking a collaborative, proactive and enthusiastic member to join our creative and supportive team. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Work collaboratively to design and implement innovative programs and events that inspire community engagement with library collections, spaces and technologies
* Create high quality resources and documentation to enhance program delivery and user experience
* Deliver dynamic and professional programs that engage diverse audiences including Baby Rhyme Time, Story Time, STEAM, Digital Literacy, and Seniors programs
* Build strong networks with industry, council and external stakeholders to advance library goals
* Research creative initiatives and emerging trends to keep programs fresh and relevant
* Demonstrate a customer focussed approach and a continued strive for excellence

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Belief in our values of safety and wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
* Recognised tertiary qualification in Library and Information Studies or relevant qualification and/or substantial experience
* A current Queensland "C" class driver's licence
* Working with Children Check – Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption Card
* The ability to be resilient, agile, and a supportive team member
* A passion for community engagement with individuals and groups of all ages
A medical is required with the attributes to undertake a range of manual handling tasks which may include setting up for events, moving trolleys, loading, and unloading vehicles and driving a range of Council's vehicles.

This is a permanent full-time position, with a salary commencing at $93,866 plus superannuation of 12.5%.
