About the role
As our Workshop Manager, you'll take ownership of a busy, well-equipped fabrication and maintenance workshop and lead a skilled team of tradespeople who take pride in what they build. You'll set the standard, plan the work, and keep jobs moving safely, efficiently, and to a high level of quality.
You'll have the autonomy to run the workshop day-to-day — job planning, resourcing, quality control, and continuous improvement — with the backing of an established management team, admin support, and steady workflow. You're not here to firefight alone; you're here to lead, improve, and build something better.
This role suits someone who enjoys being hands-on when needed, but gets real satisfaction from seeing a workshop run smoothly, a team perform well, and systems actually work. If you like structure, accountability, and having the authority to make decisions — you'll feel at home here.
You'll work closely with project and maintenance teams, have input into tooling, workflow, and staffing, and play a key role in shaping the culture and performance of the workshop as the business continues to grow.
If you're an experienced Workshop Manager looking for autonomy without corporate red tape — or a senior tradesperson ready to step up into leadership with genuine support — this role gives you the platform to do your best work.

* Maintain equipment according to the set schedule.
* Ensure that staff work within company policies and guidelines.
* Supervise and manage a team of fabricators, welders, and other workshop personnel. Schedule, delegate, and coordinate tasks among team members to ensure effective workflow. Complete all job procurement activities associated with each job.
