About the Role As Café Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of Eldercare's café, ensuring residents and guests enjoy exceptional service in a warm and welcoming environment.
Reporting to the Head Chef and working closely with the restaurant and retirement resort teams, you'll guide front-of-house staff during each shift, setting clear expectations and maintaining a smooth, professional service flow.
Our residents value attentive, high-quality service, and you'll play a key role in upholding this through strong communication and a commitment to excellence.
You'll manage a blend of front and back-of-house responsibilities, including point-of-sale operations, opening and closing procedures, and coordinating bookings for meetings, functions, and groups.
The role requires a high level of autonomy and self-directed work, with the confidence to make informed decisions throughout the day.
From time to time, you'll also support or coordinate special events within the café, contributing to memorable experiences for residents and visitors.
You'll foster a positive atmosphere, maintain strong relationships with residents, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer care.
