**About the Role**
Joining our well-established Central Compliance team, your role will be focused on management of regulatory change and continuous improvement. Your key stakeholders will be within the Central Compliance team, and this will allow you to gain experience in obligations register management, incident and breach management, policy management lifecycle, compliance training, regulatory change and continuous improvement.
This role will require you to accurately and effectively identify all regulatory change alerts that could impact the BOQ Group and conduct an initial impact assessment. We'll rely on your expertise to execute timely escalation of alert of high to critical impact to the Senior Partner - Regulatory Change for guidance to manage regulatory risk.
You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of alerts from identification to implementation of change and updates to the obligations register, while identifying and escalating potential issues to the Senior Partner. We'll also need you to assist the Senior Partner to develop and prepare the monthly regulatory change working pack and newsletter for distribution to the Group.
**About you**
We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of Banking and Finance laws and regulations. You'll have the ability to manage a large caseload, meet tight deadlines and be a problem solver, with a positive and proactive approach centered around achieving the Compliance function's Purpose and Ways of Working.
We would ideally like to appoint someone with a legal background although this not essential. Compliance knowledge within banking and financial services will be required to be successful for this role.
