Want the opportunity to edit powerful, high-impact short form content for the personal brand of Forbes' Number 1 Business Mentor in Australia and AFR Young Rich Lister with 1.2 million Instagram followers?
We are looking for a highly skilled Short Form Video Editor to join the Aaron Sansoni Group International (ASG) and play a key role in executing our media strategy. This role is for someone who understands the psychology of viral content, has strong editing instincts, and can turn long form footage into short form clips that perform across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn.
You will work directly with the Head of Content and Videographer to take raw footage, identify the strongest moments, and craft short form edits that drive high retention, fast view velocity, and strong engagement. This is a creative and fast-moving role that sits at the heart of our content engine.
This is not a basic editing role. You are responsible for delivering a high weekly volume of platform-ready content that matches the strategic direction of the brand and fuels our rapid growth. You must be organized, creative, and obsessed with producing clips that grab attention and keep viewers watching.

What You Will Do
Edit World-Class Short Form Content
Pull and identify the strongest moments from long form assets including YouTube videos, interviews, keynotes, training sessions, podcasts, and testimonials
Edit short form videos with modern social-first techniques such as fast pacing, jump cuts, zooms, captions, sound design, and pattern interrupts
Maintain brand consistency in style, tone, pacing, and visual identity
Produce content that is optimized for retention, virality, and platform performance
Deliver High Weekly Output
Deliver, post, and schedule between 20 and 40 short form clips every week depending on the pipeline
Use Hootsuite and other publishing tools to ensure accurate scheduling and consistency across all platforms
Prepare platform-specific cuts when required, such as square versions, vertical versions or modified captions
Work efficiently with tight deadlines and high expectations
Assist with Content Capture
Attend selected events with Aaron to support content capture and brainstorm content opportunities
Assist the Videographer and Head of Content during filming sessions when needed
Capture simple clips on the go when useful content opportunities appear whenever you're with Aaron
Identify moments during filming that will translate into high-performing short form content
Execute Strategic Direction
Work closely with the Head of Content to bring the weekly content strategy to life
Follow creative guidelines, content pillars, and brand objectives
Provide suggestions for new edit styles, hooks, and formats that maximise performance
Maintain quality control and ensure all clips align with the brand standards
Stay Ahead of Social Trends
Maintain a deep understanding of social media algorithms, trending formats, content patterns, and audience behaviour
Monitor emerging editing styles and apply them to keep ASG's content fresh and competitive
Stay on top of trends within Aaron's industry
Analyze performance and contribute insights for continuous improvement
About You
2+ years experience editing short form videos
Proven experience creating content that performs on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels
Strong ability to identify viral moments and shape them into high-impact short form clips
Skilled in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing tools
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and content psychology
Able to manage high-volume output with excellent consistency and attention to detail
Comfortable travelling occasionally to events and shoots
Fast, organised, creative, and highly reliable
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
Passion for storytelling, virality, pacing, and digital culture
