Being an Employment Partner with Maxima is a rewarding and varied customer facing role providing high quality person-centred services to our customers.
Responsible for ensuring customers are supported in strengthening their employability skills to progress towards gaining and maintaining meaningful employment, you will partner with internal staff and external support services to assist the customer to overcome personal and professional barriers, and to source suitable and sustainable employment.
You will…
* Meet individual and team key performance targets
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver personalised case management services
* Coach customers to build capacity and skills
* Identify and address barriers to employment, and offer guidance on job searching, resumes, and interview preparation
* Advocate for customers to ensure their rights are protected and their voices are heard in matters relating to employment and support services
* Network with community services and employers
* Identify new job opportunities, matching customers to jobs
* Undertake reverse marketing, job creation activity and bespoke job carving (applying Customised Employment Principles)
What will you need to succeed?
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills; an essential part of this role is the ability to build relationships with diverse customer groups, internal teams and stakeholders.

You will also have:
* A passion for promoting diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in the workplace
* The belief in the value of employment for people with a disability
* A willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development
* A positive can‑do attitude with excellent problem‑solving, organisational, and time management skills
* Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales or exposure to a KPI‑driven environment would be beneficial (but not essential)
* National police check, relevant State/Territory working with children check or be willing to obtain.
