About the role
As a Product Owner, you will be accountable for setting the vision and strategy across several of our Bunnings web and mobile applications which support our internal team members to deliver great service to our customers! Working with key business stakeholders, you will develop clear product roadmaps that contribute to the delivery of Bunnings’ strategy.
By leading and collaborating with both internal and external delivery partners, you will be responsible for ensuring the right initiatives are delivered at the right time to realise maximum value for our customers, team members, and suppliers.
You will have a key focus on promoting the internal value of your team and being an expert and genuine advocate across a vast range of products that deliver great value to our team members' everyday roles.
What's involved:
* Work with a range of business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities, aligning this to the business direction, communicating decision outcomes whilst maintaining strong relationships
* Work with internal customers (including in store and operational team members) to understand needs, product requirements and gather feedback
* Develop and implement product roadmaps and strategies, ensuring alignment of roadmaps across relevant business units
* Work across multiple agile delivery teams, actively participating in scrum ceremonies, managing and maintaining backlog items and optimising the value of the product portfolio
* Be an active participant in the leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Who we’re looking for
You will bring significant demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, ideally working across multiple products concurrently.
You enjoy being a trusted partner of the business, asking the right questions to ensure each solution within your roadmap is aligned with business strategy and technology principles.
You excel at creating and maintaining relationships virtually, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across remote teams. You are committed to learning about multiple products to become an expert and provide valuable insights and direction.
You’ll need:
* Previous working experience as a Product Owner, ideally with exposure across web and/or mobile applications
* Ability to set a product vision and achieve buy-in from key stakeholders
* Strong experience in a delivery or strategy related function
* Experience across leading, mentoring, or guiding teams would be desirable
* Experience with business case development, validation, and business benefit realisation
* Good understanding of Agile ways of working and methodologies/frameworks in a virtual environment
* Demonstrated experience in delivering change through internal development teams, partners and external stakeholders
