About the Role
This Associate role offers a rare opportunity to work directly with some of Australia's most senior investment banking professionals on high-profile M&A, capital management, IPOs, capital raisings, and complex strategic mandates. Working alongside the Associate Director and an experienced corporate advisory team, you'll deliver high-quality financial analysis, valuations, market insights, and transaction support, while also contributing to pitch development and new deal origination.
It's a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to accelerate their technical and commercial capability while gaining exposure to sophisticated transactions and senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities
You'll work across the full spectrum of corporate advisory, combining analytical depth, transaction execution, client delivery, and business development. Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting high-quality financial analysis, valuations, and scenario modelling to support live M&A, capital raising, IPO, and strategic engagements.
• Interpreting financial statements, large datasets, and market information to generate clear, actionable insights for clients.
• Preparing detailed market, industry, and company research to inform strategic recommendations and decision-making.
• Supporting end-to-end execution of transactions, including reviewing documentation, assisting with due diligence, and liaising with senior advisors and key stakeholders.
• Developing polished pitch decks, board materials, and presentation packs that communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact.
• Contributing to business development through opportunity research, market monitoring, shaping origination ideas, and participating in pitch meetings.
• Helping build a strong pipeline of advisory mandates through proactive idea generation and high-quality preparation of client materials.
• Demonstrating maturity, professionalism, and alignment with the boutique's values and high-performance culture.
What You'll Bring
We're seeking someone with strong technical foundations, commercial instinct, and the confidence to operate around senior leaders. You'll stand out if you have:

3–5 years
of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuations, or corporate M&A law.
• Solid grounding in
M&A execution
, capital raisings, IPO processes, or related transaction environments.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• A polished communication style and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
• The ability to synthesise large amounts of information quickly and form commercially sound viewpoints.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality across all engagements.
• Experience with FactSet or similar financial information systems (advantageous but not essential).
• A strong sense of initiative, intellectual curiosity, and the desire to grow within a high-calibre boutique advisory environment.
