McMahon Services is seeking an experienced construction leader to take on the role of General Manager – Building Services.

This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on leading and optimising our trades‐based delivery capability across a national portfolio of projects.

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the Trades Operations function and regional SA operations within our Building & Construction business.

You will work closely with the broader leadership team to drive performance across site‐based delivery, ensuring trades teams are operating safely, efficiently and to a high standard across all projects.

This role will suit a leader who has come up through the industry, understands construction delivery at a practical level, and is now ready to influence performance at a broader operational level.

What You'll Do
* Lead and manage trades operations across multiple projects and regions
* Drive productivity, efficiency and delivery performance across site teams
* Support project teams to achieve program, cost and quality outcomes
* Champion safety leadership and ensure WHSEQ compliance across operations
* Build capability within trades teams through leadership and development
* Work collaboratively with Project Managers and senior leaders across the business
What You'll Bring
* Extensive experience in construction, ideally with a strong trades or site‐based background
* Proven leadership experience managing large teams across multiple projects
* Strong understanding of site delivery, productivity and construction methodologies
* Ability to influence, lead and drive performance across operational teams
* A practical, hands‐on leadership style with strong communication skills
