Dessert Lane is a small takeaway dessert shop, and we're looking for a passionate Baker / Pastry Chef to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves baking, takes pride in quality desserts, and is confident working independently in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing and baking a range of desserts for daily takeaway service, ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Baking cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and other dessert items
* Following established recipes while contributing creative ideas
* Preparing and presenting desserts for takeaway service
* Maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards
* Working independently when required
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has baking or pastry experience (commercial or home-based experience welcome)
* Is organised, reliable, and efficient
* Is comfortable working solo at times
* Has a genuine passion for desserts and attention to detail
* Takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods
