About The Role
We are excited to offer a comprehensive internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated veterinarians who are eager to advance their careers in veterinary medicine.
As an intern, you will have unparalleled access to a diverse and challenging case load, alongside the invaluable guidance and mentorship of seasoned specialists in the field. Our internship program is designed to provide a robust foundation in veterinary medicine, offering exposure to all aspects of the discipline while also involving collaboration with other specific veterinary specialties.
What We Offer Our Interns
Gain exposure to a wide array of veterinary cases, encompassing various medical conditions and treatment modalities.Preparation for the Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MACVSc) examination. Receive structured learning to facilitate your success in this certification process.Actively participate in case rounds, journal clubs, and other educational activities aimed at enhancing veterinary knowledge and skills.Genuine support and nurturing of our talent.
More than 75% of previous QVS and Pet Emergency Interns have gone on to advanced training and specialist and/or academic positions worldwide in medicine, surgery, oncology, pathology, dentistry, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, oral surgery and emergency/critical care.
Requirements Of The Role
Successful candidates exhibit enthusiasm and willingness to learn and contribute to the team's goals. (At least 1 year of General practice experience required)Bachelor Veterinary Science, Doctor Veterinary Medicine or equivalentRegisterable Veterinarian in Queensland
