This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with relevant industry standards, legislation, and Council policies and procedures.
The position will also manage and respond to customer requests and enquiries relating to waste services, ensuring a timely and effective resolution.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in coordinating waste collection and disposal operations, with a strong focus on service delivery, safety, and operational excellence.
*Participation in after hours and weekend work is a requirement of this position.
Level of fitness required to undertake a broad range of physical tasks.*MANDATORY:
• Minimum requirement of a current HC Class driver's licence
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker (White Card)
• Plant Operator ticket (e.g.
Loader/Compactor)DESIRABLE:
• Experience operating side/rear lift truck, compactor, roll-on-roll off truck
• Agricultural Chemical Distribution and Control (ACDC) Licence or Australian Chem Cert (Desirable)BENEFITS INCLUDE:
