Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide support to teachers and students in a classroom setting, including assisting with student routines, providing basic physical care and wellbeing support, and communicating with parents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Education Support Class Position: Perform tasks under supervision and direction, including coordination of other education support class staff and educational programs.
* Technical Knowledge: Possess technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position, including routine clerical or administrative support responsibilities.
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate high-level oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
* Teamwork: Work collaboratively with others in a team environment, including coordinating with external providers of support services.
* Specialized Skills: Possess specialized skills, including medical intervention support and communication support for students and teachers in areas such as AUSLAN and braille.
