Job Description
A Social Visits Volunteer who can make a meaningful difference - One visit at a time!
Are you someone who enjoys a positive chat and can speak Greek? We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly lady who’s feeling a bit lonely. She would like a friendly volunteer to visit her to speak Greek together and help her connect with her Greek culture. Your time and company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits.
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.
