The role offers exposure to a wide variety of corporate and commercial advisory matters, without being solely M&A-focused, making it ideal for lawyers who want variety and breadth in their work.
* Advising on high-value M&A transactions
* Reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
* Conducting due diligence and drafting key transaction agreements
* Assisting with capital raising initiatives
* Drafting and reviewing shareholders' agreements
* Advising on joint ventures and other commercial arrangements
* Managing dissolutions and restructures of companies, trusts, and other entities
* Providing guidance on franchising operations
* Offering corporate advisory and governance support
You will work closely with partners and trusted business-owner clients, delivering tailored solutions that help clients achieve their goals and drive business success.
To excel in this role, you should have:
* 2 to 8 years PAE with a strong foundation in corporate law
* Experience in front-end corporate matters, including understanding the Corporations Act, contract drafting, M&A, and general corporate compliance
