Position Type: Full Time Fixed Term until August 2026 (9 day fortnight)

Salary: LGO4 ($79,414 - $85,123 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

Location: Townsville City

About The Role

Are you passionate about connecting great talent with meaningful opportunities? We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Talent Acquisition Officer to join us at Townsville City Council and help shape a high performing, future focused workforce.

The Talent Acquisition Officer will provide comprehensive end to end recruitment services and support to internal and external stakeholders in collaboration with sections and teams across council.

What We're Looking For In Our Ideal Applicant

You would be experienced in campaign design, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding. Ensuring consistent and effective hiring practices across the organisation. You will also provide high-level advice, recommendations and ongoing support to hiring managers to ensure recruitment outcomes align with Council's standards and strategic priorities.

You are someone who enjoys building strong relationships, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent candidate and hiring manager experiences. You bring strong judgement, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Previous experience using CHR21, Big Red Sky and CI Anywhere would be desirable.
