Chef – Full-Time – PLC Armidale

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic chef, who is passionate about cooking and willing to join the kitchen team in a prestigious private college located in Armidale.
Work directly with the Senior Chef and a diverse catering team to deliver top quality, tasty meals throughout the academic calendar, including daily residential catering and external functions.
This is a Full-Time role, based at PLC Armidale. Please note due to the nature of this role, a rotation of morning, evening, weekend and public holiday work may be required from time to time to meet operational requirements.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
* Working inclusively within a team of up to 10 staff, including chefs of all levels
* Maintaining shop lists and stock rotation
* Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets set by the business.
* Assisting the Senior Chef in business development and at times, administrative duties

* The highest standards of food and occupational safety and hygiene
* Sound knowledge of dietary requirements
* Nationally Recognised Food Safety Supervisor Certificate desired
