AMH Maintenance are currently seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. AMH Maintenance is a Yeppoon based company providing auto-electrical, mechanical, fabrication and hydraulic solutions to the Central Queensland and Bowen Basin regions.
About the role
Our company is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focussed administration assistant to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will provide support to the administrative team, as well as senior technical roles as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
directing all incoming phone calls and visitors to reception for customers, suppliers and the general public;
completing general administrative tasks such as filing, maintenance of office supplies and purchases, general data entry, basic document preparation, printing, scanning;
managing purchase orders and job numbers including job cards and service sheets and reports;
maintenance of training records and registers, keys, equipment registers and site document requirements;
providing direct administrative support to senior members of our team.
About you
Strong communication skills both written and oral with a polite phone manner
Proven time management and organisation skills
Basic ability to use computers and softwares such as Microsoft Office, PDF programs and XERO (desirable but not required)
Be punctual, proactive and reliable
Ability to work unsupervised
Hold a current drivers’ license
