With nearly 60 years of design innovation and building experience, we continue as industry leaders, evolving to meet our clients' changing lifestyles.About the roleReporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating and scheduling the delivery of housing builds across multiple locations meeting expected build timeframes within contract specifications, build quality, and budget requirements.
You will work closely with the Construction Manager, Construction Administration Team, and Site Managers to coordinate construction workflow, coordinate trade capacities, and drive production.Your main responsibilities will include:Coordinate, track and manage construction work in progress from ACC to PC across retail and project housing, ensuring timely completion of delivery while meeting quality standards.Liaise with the Construction Manager to identify and resolve site issues and identify/suggest opportunities for improvement through the construction process.Work closely with Construction Administration and Site Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimise scheduling and budgets.Identify scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies to maintain build timelines.Provide regular progress updates, schedule analysis, and forecast reports.Support the effective delivery of building requirements according to the relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.Ensure site operations comply with safety and quality standards.Maintain sustainable systems and processes that support efficient management of workflow from the commencement of a build through to post-maintenance handover.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a residential construction environment (preferably volume housing) with an understanding of on-site construction methods and processes and a strong focus on process improvement and driving outcomes.You also will have:Demonstrated project management experience utilising data, systems, and process to drive on-site outcomes.Knowledge and application of the National Construction Code and Australian StandardsSkilled in communicating, monitoring, and reaching volume targets and milestonesStrong problem-solving skills, technical construction detailing and complex construction material integrationAbility to communicate with a diverse range of people and build positive relationshipsTertiary qualifications in the construction field will be well regarded.At Fairmont Homes We're Built For Life.Build a rewarding career, united within a healthy work environment.
