This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic and complex procurement advice to support the delivery of critical defence projects and programs in Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
">

* Draft liability risk assessments and identify commercial risks and treatment methodologies.
">
">
You will also be responsible for developing procurement artefacts, such as the approach to market/procurement strategy (ETP), evaluation plan & report, and managing the procurement schedule with the Head/Lead Scheduler.
">
Additional Responsibilities:
">
">
* Draft contractual artefacts for complex sustainment activities, including Conditions of Tender (CoT), Conditions of Contract (CoC), and tailor a contract that suits the Statement of work (SOW) and long-term flexible requirements of the procurement activity based on the ASDEFCON contracting documentation.
">
">
You will provide accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders, support tender clarifications, especially those concerning contractual and commercial and financial elements of tenders, and support negotiations with prime contractors.
">
Key Requirements:
">
">
* A minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
">
">
You must have formal contracting qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Contracting and Procurement or higher, or equivalent.
">
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
* Strong understanding of probity and evaluation in a commercial environment.
">
">
You should have demonstrated experience in procurement/contract management administration, practices, and processes in Government (Commonwealth or State/Territory).
">
