**About the Organisation**
This is a large Federal Government department. The Procurement and Corporate Services Branch support the agency's business areas by providing corporate, procurement and property services. The Procurement team is responsible for partnering with business areas to procure goods and services for the Agency.
**About the Roles**
The
**APS6 Procurement Reporting Officer **is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team. You will be required to provide detailed technical, skilled, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the agency's objectives.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Providing support to compliance reporting and ensuring procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the agencys Procurement Policy to deliver value for money outcomes.
- Leading a small team including maintaining the integrity and quality of corporate data.
- Maintaining reporting/data management tools and systems using strong Excel skills and knowledge using business management and database software such as SAP ESSentials and SAP GUI.
- Working collaboratively to develop a suitable solution to complex issues based on available data.
- Designing and delivering training and support materials to internal clients.
- Acting as a central point of contact to resolve systems issues between the Agency and third party agency.
- Providing procurement content, advice and support for agency's regulatory and legislative reporting requirements.
- Developing a suite of corporate reporting tools to support branch reporting using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and other similar data software.
**Key Skills Required to excel in this role**:
- Adaptable, resilient with good problem-solving skills to manage challenges productively and positively.
- Good Excel, Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools), and presentation skills.
- SAP ESSentials experience, SAP GUI experience and knowledge is desirable.
- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or Procurement experience are preferable.
