You will also at times be required to be on call. Applicants for a casual position will be considered if willing to progress to part-time hours.Key Responsibilities:Act as surgical scrub/scout including administration of procedural sedation for patients having a variety of routine and complex Interventional Radiology procedures.Provide post-procedural care to patients after Interventional Radiology procedures including post sedation monitoring and responsibility for safe discharge.Prepare, assist with, and provide care to patients having diagnostic examinations across a variety of imaging modalities in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.Who we're looking forPrevious experience in Radiology, critical care or perioperative environment is desirable, as is proficiency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms, Advanced Life Support training and IV cannulation accreditation.In addition:You'll have a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with minimum one year experience post-graduation within a clinical setting.You'll be a highly motivated person who has a passion for continuous professional development and quality improvement.You'll have a demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.You'll have a proven customer service focus and problem-solving ability.You'll have specialised clinical skills e.g., conscious sedation administration, scrub/scout for interventional procedures and standing orders.About UsAdventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital.
