Position Overview
Norco, Australia's largest farmer‐owned dairy cooperative, is hiring a blowmould operator for our Raleigh Milk Manufacturing site. The machines produce 2‐liter bottles, and the ideal candidate will have previous machine operator experience or machine aptitude, and be motivated and committed to a career in food manufacturing.
Responsibilities
The role involves shift work; the team works an average of 42.66 hours per week across 24 hours/6 days, Monday to Saturday on a 12‐hour rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and night shift. This fast‐paced physical work is delivered in a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
* Sound understanding of workplace health and safety and the ability to work safely
* Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (blowmould experience highly desirable)
* Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and advanced problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
* Willingness to work shift work and rotating rosters
* Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
* Ability to accurately complete paperwork with good attention to detail
* Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills
* Understanding and commitment to continuous improvement activities

* Successful candidates must pass a pre‐employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test
