This is a high-impact regional role, ideal for someone who understands the SaaS and fintech ecosystem across Australia and New Zealand, and wants to build and scale a multi-country market.This is more than a sales role — you'll partner with SaaS platforms to embed payments into their product and monetization strategy, driving significant recurring revenue for both them and Valpay.You'll act as the commercial founder of the APAC/ANZ pod, accountable for pipeline creation, partner acquisition, merchant activation, and revenue delivery.
You'll collaborate cross-functionally with technical, product, and operations teams both at Valpay and at our partners to unlock adoption and growth.What You'll DoAcquire and grow software partner accountsProspect, pitch, and close SaaS platforms across APAC/ANZ, positioning embedded payments as a core revenue engine.Localize your outreach to verticals with strong presence in Australia and New Zealand — hospitality, healthcare, trades, field services, retail tech, marketplaces, and more.Develop and accelerate regional growth opportunitiesIdentify APAC/ANZ regions, verticals, and SaaS clusters with the highest potential.Tailor messaging to the nuances of the Australian and New Zealand markets, and adjacent APAC geographies as relevant.Own and scale partner relationshipsCollaborate with partners' commercial and sales teams to drive merchant onboarding and activation across the region.Become their strategic advisor on pricing models, go-to-market motions, and monetizing embedded payments.Drive full lifecycle successOrchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding, strong product adoption, and scalable revenue expansion.Build repeatable, scalable playbooks suited for APAC/ANZ SaaS platforms.Lead with influenceOwn commercial performance for the region and set a high bar for execution.Align pod members around ambitious targets and a clear regional strategy.What You Bring5+ years in B2B sales, partnerships, or growth — ideally in SaaS, fintech, payments, or embedded finance.Experience selling to or partnering with software companies/ISVs.Strong commercial instincts combined with technical fluency across APIs, integrations, and monetisation structures.Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles spanning product, technical, and commercial teams.Abuilder mentality — proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing region with ambiguity and high ownership.Bonus: PayFac, SaaS partnership, or APAC payments ecosystem experience (acquirers, gateways, ISOs, etc.).
