Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee all buying decisions across assigned categories, implementing a procurement strategy to drive operational and financial success. This involves owning all procurement activities, including category management, RFI/RFP processes, supplier management, cost forecasting, and SAP data maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation across indirect categories and a broad understanding of category dynamics and strategic sourcing. They will also have experience leading cross-functional teams, demonstrating effective people management and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Owning all buying decisions across assigned categories
* Implementing the procurement strategy to drive operational and financial success
* Overseeing all procurement activities, including category management, RFI/RFP processes, supplier management, cost forecasting, and SAP data maintenance
* Leading procurement and supply decisions for all innovation initiatives within the categories
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years of procurement experience with a strong foundation across indirect categories
* 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
* Proven procurement or commercial negotiation expertise
* A high level of financial and analytical acumen
* Experience within the FMCG industry (preferred but not essential)
