What you'll be doing
* Providing personalised support to clients with a range of disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation and community access
* Empowering clients to develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals
* Skilled in working with people experiencing mental health challenges and fostering meaningful, therapeutic connections
* Advocating for clients and collaborating with their support networks to ensure their needs are met
* Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the development of care plans
* Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures and safety standards
What we're looking for
* Minimum Certificate III or above in Individual Support and currently located at Katherine,NT
* Minimum 1 year experience in community services or disability support is required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
* A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities to live independently
* A current First Aid certificate and appropriate police clearance
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
* Current Ochre Card or the ability to obtain one is required
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance must be held
* Current NT Drivers Licence must be held
* Valid Australian work visa is required for this position
