Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph Card & Drivers Qualification Card.Main Responsibilities for HGV DriversPerform Pre-Shift and End-of-Shift vehicle checks including regular walk around inspections and report any defects found.Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and complying with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits and following site-specific rules.You must maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically.Demonstrate a high level of Geographical Knowledge.Complete any adhoc requests.The Mick George Group is committed to providing equality of opportunity for all.
