Fire Service Technician – Electrical
Are you an experienced Fire Service Technician and A-Grade Electrician with a proven track record in service, maintenance, and testing to Australian Standards? We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our Service & Maintenance team, delivering high-quality electrical solutions and exceptional client service.
About the Role
As a Service Technician, you will manage on-site installation, maintenance, repairs and testing of electrical systems in accordance with Australian Standards. You will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective solutions while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site installation, testing, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems.
* Perform testing and inspections in line with relevant Australian Standards, including AS 1851 (fire systems), AS/NZS 3000 (wiring rules), and other applicable standards.
* Diagnose technical faults and implement effective solutions.
* Maintain accurate documentation and workflow records.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering excellent service.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.
* Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
* A-Grade Electrical Licence (essential).
* Proven experience in a Fire Service or Maintenance environment.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience in testing and compliance to Australian Standards.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure, with initiative and flexibility.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* EAHL Licence (desirable)
