KATHERINE - NT
The Northern Territory is one of the most culturally diverse places in the world. Katherine is a town situated on the Katherine River, 230km Southeast of Darwin. It is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory. Katherine is also the closest major town to RAAF Base 'Tindal'.
Katherine locals are blessed with nearby attractions such as Nitmiluk National Park and Katherine Gorge, adorned with many ancient rock paintings. Original tribes such as the Dogoman, Jawoyn and Wardaman people now live in community with people from Victoria River District, Walpiri and Tanami Desert.
In this role you will have the privilege of working closely with local and aboriginal families and the experience of immersing yourself in an amazing part of the world.
