Head of Product - Superannuation
Location : Melbourne or Sydney
Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product professional to lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for the Apex Super administration platform, Acurity registry software, and associated portals. You will be responsible for driving innovation, ensuring customer-centric design, and aligning our solutions with the needs of superannuation funds, advisers, and members. This is a key role within the superannuation business and will collaborate with customers, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer teams to help define and transition our product offering to the cloud and maintain our position as an industry leader.
Job specification
* Define and execute the product vision and strategy, aligning with company goals and market opportunities
* Own the product roadmap & governance, ensuring prioritisation of features that drive customer value and business growth
* Collaborate with engineering and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
* Engage with superannuation fund administrators, members, and advisers to understand needs and improve user experience
* Ensure compliance with Australian regulatory requirements, including APRA and ASIC guidelines
* Identify market trends, competitive insights, and emerging technologies to drive innovation
* Develop go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing and sales teams
* Monitor and analyse product performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation
Skills Required :
* 7+ years of experience in product management
* Strong background in fintech, wealth management, superannuation, or financial services desirable
* Deep understanding of Australian superannuation regulations, member engagement, and adviser workflows
* Proven track record of delivering successful SaaS or enterprise-grade financial products
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
* Experience working with Agile methodologies
* Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities
