Accountabilities & Responsibilities Managing a diverse product range of many SKUs in an extremely fast-paced environment which warehouses ambient, fresh, chilled & frozen foods.
Planning and regular assessment of daily logistics and distribution coordination.
Implementing training/rotational programs for existing and new staff to create a multi-skilled workforce.
Strategic forecast, budgeting, and planning for inventory and purchasing control, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans.
Using ERP systems for managing daily operations, stock management, and reporting.
Warehouse roster scheduling and labour cost management.
Managing resources effectively and minimizing costs as per company directions.
Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Communicating with customers regarding supplies and distribution arrangements.
Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and forwarding transportation.
Overseeing company vehicle and truck operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and safety compliance.
Overseeing recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions.
Directing staff activities and monitoring performance.
Ensuring company compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Producing weekly & monthly reports on warehouse operations.
Managing a team of Warehouse staff to ensure high work quality and efficiency.
Handling other relevant ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management.
Skills Required Relevant experience in a similar capacity.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Chinese communication.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proven mentorship and training abilities, with strong management overseeing 30+ warehouse & transport roles.
Effective problem-solving skills with the capability to develop solutions to increase efficiency & improve service delivery.
Proficient in MS Office suite, Sales & Operations Planning.
