About This Role
As the Clinical Nurse Facilitator – Emergency Department, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, education, and coordination to support safe, high-quality, person‐centred emergency care while strengthening capability across the multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver advanced clinical expertise in assessment, care planning, and management of patients with complex and acute emergency presentations
* Lead and facilitate clinical education, orientation, simulation, and ongoing professional development for nursing and multidisciplinary staff
* Coordinate and support unit operations including clinical leadership, quality improvement, risk management, and practice standards
* Act autonomously and provide professional leadership across clinical, education, research, and service improvement portfolios
About You
You are an experienced emergency nurse and clinical leader who is passionate about education, quality care, and building team capability in a fast‐paced environment.
* Registered Nurse with NMBA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), with postgraduate emergency nursing study highly desirable
* Demonstrated advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking, and problem‐solving skills within emergency or acute care settings, ideally with ED triage experience
* Proven ability to mentor, teach, and support staff development through facilitation, simulation, and evidence‐based education
* Strong communicator and collaborative leader with experience in quality improvement, change management, and fostering a positive team culture
