Cleo is a collaborative team looking for experienced and passionate team members to join us.Position: Cleo Specialist - Career CoachOverview: As a Cleo Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional member experiences.
Using your expertise in Career Coaching, you will support members in 1:1 and group settings and consult with colleagues on the Guide Team to provide holistic care.
Responsibilities
General Member Support:
Provide accurate and clear information about Cleo's support offerings.
Deliver high-quality assistance and support through various channels (phone, video, app messaging).
Actively listen to members' concerns, inquiries, and feedback with empathy and patience.
Collaborate with members, other Cleo Guides and specialists to implement and manage personalized family support plans that drive defined outcomes as per Cleo's workflows.
Address social determinants of health and wellbeing and connect members to available resources.
Utilize Cleo's resources to deliver high-value interventions as defined by LifePaths and other documentation.
Collaborate with the care team to facilitate comprehensive, integrative, individualized support rooted in evidence-based best practices.
Live Support:
One-on-one: Provide empathetic, evidence-informed practical support to clients in one-on-one settings (phone and video); monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed; develop individualized plans as needed (including resume/CV and cover letter review when appropriate).
One-to-many: Facilitate educational classes, workshops, webinars, and peer support groups; monitor progress; foster a safe, inclusive environment; encourage active participation; host webinars for marketing purposes.
Messaging Support:
Provide accurate and helpful information to resolve member issues and address concerns.
Collaborate with Guides to craft messages in your area of expertise.
Answer questions in internal channels (Slack) and live meetings.
Content & Resource Development:
Create group curricula aligned with Cleo LifePath outcomes and high-value interventions.
Write member-facing in-app articles and team-facing Guru resources.
Develop and record short educational videos for the app.
Serve as a subject matter expert for program, service, and product improvements.
Provide training materials for professional development of the team.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of member interactions with clear documentation of conversations, actions, and goals met.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to improvements in member support processes, workflows, tools, and communication strategies.
Participate in training to stay updated on Cleo policies, industry trends, and product offerings.
Commit to DEI/inclusive support with ongoing learning to unlearn biases where applicable.
Evaluate high-value interventions and suggest improvements; collect and interpret data; participate in regular case reviews.
Maintain qualifications through recertification, continuing education, and awareness of relevant research and best practices.
Qualifications
Preferred experience: training and certification in career coaching, ideally with experience working directly with parents and caregivers
Group education/support facilitation and case management experience
Experience working a shift schedule
A focus on high quality care with attention to driving outcomes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
A solution-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and energy to deliver exceptional member experiences and to support families globally
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Additional skills: digital health or startup experience, bi/multilingual
Ability to work 3 days per week for 5 hours each day

Pay Transparency: The base rate for this position is $40-45 per hour, for up to 15 hours per week.
Benefits include 15 paid holidays, 5-day winter break, accrued vacation time, sick time, 16 weeks paid parental leave, and 401(k).
