A position has opened for a full time Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our friendly, supportive and award-winning team. W T Newey & Co is a boutique real estate company, located in Bankstown, which services the Sydney metropolitan area and has been operating for 103 years.
This role will suit an individual who is highly organised, has proven attention to detail and enjoys working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily reconciliation of Trust bank accounts.
* Management and recording of transactions associated with property sales including liaising with agents and solicitors (i.e. Deposits and Settlements)
* Reconciliations including mid-month and end of month procedures.
* Day to day administration of the Trust Accounting records using REST Professional and MYOB.
* Completing all necessary documentation, correspondence and form preparation associated with the smooth operations of the various Trust Accounts as required by The Property Stock and Business Agents Act.
* Processing and payment of invoices for creditors
* Processing and payments to Landlords and Vendors
* Reconciliation and management of company Accounts & administration.
* Additional administrative tasks as directed
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role handling trust accounts
* Experience using MYOB & compatible computer programs preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Have a proven attention to detail
* Ability to multi task and work autonomously
* Flexible hours can be considered for the right candidate.
