Key Account Manager – Dealership & OE Manufacturer (National Role)

Precision Automotive Equipment – Eastern Seaboard, Australia

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Key Account Manager to join our team at Precision Automotive Equipment. This is a national role, ideally based on the eastern seaboard, where you will play a pivotal part in building and managing relationships with the head offices of major dealer groups and OE manufacturers.


About the role


As Key Account Manager, you will:

* Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key decision-makers across large dealer groups and OE brands.
* Identify, drive, and convert new business opportunities in line with growth targets.
* Work closely with a national network of Business Development Managers (BDMs), providing guidance and support to ensure success within your designated accounts.
* Act as the central point of contact for key accounts, ensuring delivery of tailored solutions that add value to our customers' operations.
* Represent Precision Automotive Equipment with professionalism and credibility at all levels of the industry.


About you


We're looking for someone who brings:

* Proven experience in key account management, ideally within the automotive industry.
* Experience working with a car dealership and/or OE manufacturer is highly regarded.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the automotive sector.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive and collaborative approach, with experience working across national teams.
* Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
