We are recruiting for an Accounts Officer to join a well-established business, based in Brisbane's Inner North with flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Prepare and submit progress and completion claims
- Reconcile credit card transactions and job-related expenses
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups
- Prepare weekly pay runs and liaise with external suppliers
- Support financial reporting and monthly reconciliations
- Assist with vehicle tracking, fuel/toll reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Coordinate with external accountants for month-end/year-end activities
- Maintain accurate records and assist with budgeting and forecasting
What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record in a similar accounts role
- Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong reconciliation, reporting, and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
