Job Title: Corporate Lawyer for Funds and Transactions
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and solutions in a commercial context.
The successful candidate will have strong legal experience in corporate M&A, transactions, and/or funds management. You will work closely with our General Counsel & Company Secretary to oversee the negotiation and execution of all legal documentation relevant to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate and execute legal documentation related to acquisitions, commercial agreements, and corporate transactions
* Manage litigation and ensure effective dispute resolution
* Liaise with external legal specialists to obtain additional legal advice where necessary
* Assist in reviewing/approving fundraising disclosure documentation
* Monitor legislative developments and ensure internal clients are informed of current laws affecting business activities
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Degree Qualified (LLB) with a current practicing certificate
* 2+ years post-qualified experience from a top-tier law firm and/or in-house experience
* Legal experience/rotations in corporate, funds, and/or property (or the REIT sector)
* Highly polished communication skills, both verbally and in written form
* Ability to collaborate effectively with others and take a strategic perspective in your work
