Working with global institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments and multinational corporations, Markets & Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody sub-custody and clearing services.
- Your main responsibilities will include:_
- Successfully identifying, managing and delivering mandatory and discretionary changes to the Australia Securities Services product set, triggered by material local regulatory and/or tax change.
- Global product management of our FATCA/CRS reporting services offered in partnership with a "big 4" firm to global investment fund clients (including fund domiciles in Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Singapore, United Kingdom, etc.).
- Externally representing Securities Services with authority as to the practical implications of local regulatory and tax change for relevant customer groups and other external stakeholders such as regulators and advisers.
- Internally, providing clarity as to the practical implications of local regulatory and tax change for client facing, product, operational and functional colleagues.
- Transforming the Fund Administration tax & regulatory reporting product for Australia, deploying strategic solutions underpinned by a scalable operating model and appropriate risk management framework.
- Making other regional and global impacts by participating in regional / global product initiatives as they arise amongst the broader global portfolio of regulatory and tax driven product developments.
Requirements
- To be successful in this role, you will need:_
- Demonstrated experience as an expert in Tax & Regulatory Reporting within the funds management industry in Australia.
- Demonstrable experience with FATCA/CRS tax compliance, ideally as it applies to the global investment funds industry.
- A proven track record in delivering complex regulatory, tax or operational change programs.
- Ability to work with and influence multiple teams across different disciplines and geographies (e.g. development through to sales).
- Demonstrated strong business acumen throughout the product management and development lifecycle.
- The presence, expertise and communication skills to be able to represent Securities Services externally with authority and confidence.
