Job Summary:
We are seeking a Graduate Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Mental Health team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse who has completed academic studies that lead to entry to the nursing profession.
The successful applicant will work with other mental health staff to organize and coordinate quality care for consumers, carers and families who present to Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (GVAMHWS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist and work with other mental health staff to provide quality care for consumers, carers and families.
* Support the transition of new graduate registered nurses to independent practice.
* Develop and maintain skills and knowledge in mental health through ongoing learning needs and continued studies.
Requirements:
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Commit to the requirements of a Graduate Nurse Program.
* Practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.
* Demonstrate motivation to learn and engage in various clinical environments across various sites.
* Be able to work rotating shifts across a 24 hour or any other roster pattern as required in the clinical environment.
