Key Responsibilities
* Support the Chief Radiographer with operational and clinical leadership of the department
* Provide hands‑on clinical leadership and act as a senior escalation point
* Coordinate daily workflow, including rostering support and resource allocation
* Promote best practice, patient safety, and quality assurance across all services
* Lead training, supervision, and professional development of radiography staff
* Drive continuous improvement and maintain strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
About You
* AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years' radiography experience, ideally in a hospital setting
* Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior or supervisory radiography role
* Strong clinical expertise across CT, general radiography, and theatre, which are core services at this site
* Mammography experience highly regarded, with a newly introduced service set to expand in 2026 to include interventional and contrast mammography
* Proven communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
* Interest in supporting service development, including preparation for a new Emergency Department opening in late 2026
