Our client are currently seeking a Project Officer to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role As a Project Officer, you will be part of a team that is tasked with developing and reporting data and insights across a large project.
In addition, your key duties are as follows: Develop and manage project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
Maintaining project documents, dashboards, registers, item logs and case preparation Developing reports and presentations for senior managers and project stakeholders Identifying risk and associated issues.
Recording and reporting identified risks Data reporting Organising meetings and creating minutes from meetings Regular email correspondence and formal communication regards the project to various stakeholders About you To be successful in this role, you must have: Previous experience in a project management or any similar role, within a large organisation Understanding of project management methodologies, reporting and risk assessment Flexible approach to work, and able to work in fast paced ever changing environment Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate at all levels Excellent problem-solving and high attention to detail skills IT proficient, and able to upskill in new platforms and applications as required Background in disability, social services, or public sector would be desirable Benefits 12-month temporary assignment Full-time hours, Monday to Friday $60.26 per hour + super Immediate start pending clearances Geelong location + hybrid working arrangements available *** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to complete federal police check ** At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
