The Position
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer with a leading organisation in inner Brisbane. This is a permanent position located close to public transport, and offers free onsite parking available. As the successful candidate you will work closely with the Transactional Services Manager while supporting the accounts payable process in a high volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
* High volume invoice processing and preparation of payments;
* Support with expense management processes;
* Reconciliations of bank statements, accounts and credit card transactions;
* Responding to and resolving queries via email and phone;
* Management of more complex matters to support the junior members of the small team.
Skills and Experience:
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a finance team;
* Strong sense of ownership;
* Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships;
* Effective and adaptive communication skills;
* Computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.
