About the role
The Senior Manager, Organisational Development and Strategy is a senior leadership role within People and Culture, reporting to the Deputy Director, People and Culture. The role provides enterprise-level leadership in workforce strategy, organisational development, capability, culture and inclusion.
Working in close partnership with senior leaders across the University, the role leads the development, implementation and monitoring of key workforce strategies and frameworks that enable a capable, agile and high-performing workforce aligned to the University's strategic objectives.
The role has responsibility for leading a specialist team and overseeing major university-wide initiatives, including strategic workforce planning, leadership and learning development, equity, diversity and inclusion strategies, workforce capability frameworks, and performance and development processes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrate strong strategic leadership capability, supported by a comprehensive understanding of workforce strategy and organisational development within a complex environment.
You will have a proven track record in designing and delivering workforce, capability and inclusion strategies that enhance organisational performance and foster a positive workplace culture. As an influential leader, you will bring highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups, and experience in leading learning and development initiatives that build organisational capability and strengthen culture and engagement outcomes.
About People and Culture
People and Culture partners with Faculties and Directorates to deliver strategic advice, quality services and impactful projects across recruitment, workplace relations, health, safety and wellbeing, organisational development, workforce planning and change management. The Organisational Development and Strategy team plays a critical role in shaping the University's workforce capability, culture and future readiness.
