About This Role As a C-130J Qualified Flying Instructor, you will provide specialist instruction (ground school, simulator and live aircraft), conduct training development, including development of courseware and training material, as well as provide technical and administrative support to the execution of the C-130J pilot training program. This is a permanent full time position, based at RAAF base Richmond, NSW. The role we are offering you Personal and team responsibility to provide ground based, simulator and live aircraft instruction for RAAF students Conduct and develop flight crew training events for customer pilots during the ground and flight simulator training at local and remote sites Identify and remediate students experiencing difficulties in achieving required competencies Assess courseware against operation of simulation training devices and work with a team of training development specialists to suitable amend as required Act as a subject matter expert for courseware technical review Our ideal candidate has: Hold or willing to gain a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent experience Hold or ability to gain a C-130J-type rating Ideally holding a Military Qualified Flying Instructor Rating or civil equivalent with extensive experience in airborne instruction and training roles Previous experience as Pilot in Command (PIC) on C-130J, C-130H or equivalent aircraft What CAE offers you: Opportunity to make a considerable impact on Australian defence and security Exciting career paths in a truly global business Brand new flexible leave policy Access to a brand new generous ADF Reserve Service Policy Corporate discounts, such as Private Health Insurance and more Security requirements As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
